About Me
My passion for writing began when I was about 6 years old, when I wrote my first short story. Since then, writing has always been a part of my life both personally and professionally. I studied English and journalism at Washington University in St. Louis and went on to receive a master’s degree in journalism from DePaul University in Chicago. My professional career began as an editorial assistant at a Chicago-based international design magazine. From there, I spent 10 years in content and content strategy roles at Edelman Public Relations and Weber Shandwick.
Today, I reside in a suburb of Chicago and, when I’m not working, I enjoy reading, cooking and adventuring with my husband, daughter, son and bearded collie.
